WSU Establishes Guidelines For Second Round Of Budget Reductions

A $4.47 million reduction in Washington State University’s 2008-2009 fiscal year budget, which was requested by the state late last month, will be achieved by cuts of just under 1.5 percent from both administrative and academic units. This second round of budget cuts will bring the total reductions made by the university to just over $10.5 million from a state allocation of nearly $254 million.
